Sections allow you to organize your menu into logical categories such as 'Appetizers', 'Main Courses', 'Desserts', 'Drinks', etc.
Add a Section
- In the menu details page, click on the 'Add a section' button.
- Enter the section name (e.g., 'Appetizers', 'Main Courses', 'Desserts').

Section Schedules
Show a section only during certain hours — breakfast from 9 to 11, a lunch set menu until 2:30 pm, happy hour in the evening. Times follow your restaurant's timezone.

- In your menu, open the section's '⋯' menu and choose 'Availability'.
- Enable the schedule and set the start and end times. For overnight windows, set an end time earlier than the start (e.g. 17:00–01:00).
- Pick the days it applies to — leave all unselected to apply every day.
- Choose whether the section is hidden while closed or stays visible with an 'Available' note, then click 'Save'.
Dishes
Dishes are the individual items on your menu. You can add details such as price, description, allergens, and even photos.

Add a Dish
- In the section where you want to add a dish, click on the '+' (plus) button.
- Enter the dish name, description, and price.
- If desired, add a photo by clicking on the image icon and uploading a photo from your device.
- Select relevant allergens from the available list.
- Click 'Save' to add the dish to your menu.
Edit a Dish
- Click on the menu icon (three dots) next to the dish you want to edit, then select 'Edit'.
- Update the necessary information and click 'Save'.
Delete a Dish
- Click on the menu icon (three dots) next to the dish you want to delete, then select 'Delete'.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog box that appears.
Sizes & Variants
Sell the same dish in several sizes — small, medium or large, glass or pitcher — each with its own price.

- Open a dish to edit it and find the 'Sizes' field.
- Click 'Add size' and enter a name (e.g. Small) and its price.
- Add as many sizes as you need. Sizes replace the dish's single price, and diners see a 'from' price on the menu.
- Click 'Save' — sizes apply to all languages of your menu.
Allergens
Menutiq allows you to clearly indicate allergens present in your dishes or drinks, helping your customers make informed choices based on their dietary restrictions.
Add Allergens to a Dish
- When creating or editing a dish, scroll down to the 'Allergens' section.
- Check the boxes corresponding to allergens present in the dish.
- If a specific allergen is not in the list, you can add it using the 'Other' option.
- Click 'Save' to update the allergen information.
Displaying Allergens
Allergens are automatically displayed on your digital menu with easily recognizable icons. Customers can also filter dishes based on their dietary restrictions.
Multilingual Menus
Menutiq allows you to create menus in multiple languages, which is ideal for restaurants, bars, and cafeterias catering to an international clientele.

Add a Language
- In the menu details page, use the language selector in the top right corner.
- Select the language you want to add from the dropdown list.
- Once the new language is selected, you will see an empty version of your menu in that language.
- You will now need to translate your menu content into this new language.
Translate Content
- With the new language selected, click on each section and dish to edit them.
- Enter translations for names, descriptions, and other information.
- Click 'Save' after each translation to update the content.
QR Codes
QR codes are a simple way for your customers to access your digital menu. Place them on your tables, at the entrance of your establishment, or on your marketing materials.

Generate a QR Code
- In the dashboard side menu, open 'QR Code'.
- Customize the dark and light colors to match your brand.
- Choose the file format (PNG, SVG, …) and click 'Download QR Code'.
- Click 'Save' to keep your color customization.
Print QR Codes
- Print the downloaded file at any size — table cards, stickers or posters.
- Place it on tables, at the entrance or on delivery flyers — one scan opens your menu.
